Has anybody ever tried laying a thin piece of metal on top of some wood and cutting a design into the metal which would burn it into the wood? Just something random I thought about the other day. Wouldn’t it put too much heat back towards the machine?
Something you could try is cut the shape reversed lay it on the wood then using a torch burn the exposed wood area. Burning the piece over the wood, would impregnate the wood with slag. Now thinking about it maybe reversed wouldn’t work hmmm.
Yes. It works but you need hot and fast. A great way to do it is a mapp gas torch with one of the handheld trigger igniters.
