Y-axis parallelism

I’m having a hell of a time getting the y-axis parallel to the slats. In the assembly video, it says this is done via the leveling casters. I’ve adjusted one corner so extreme that the machine is rocking on 3 casters and I cannot get better than 1/16" difference from Y- to Y+.

For what it’s worth, I have the water bed slats level (via a level) before trying to true the Y. The X-axis is pretty true (not perfect but way better than the Y).

Any ideas?

I noticed adjusting the casters didn’t really do much if anything at all as well. I know I was having issues with the height difference from one end of the machine to the other. I wound up noticing that when you hit one side of the slat into the slat holder that the other end would come up some, so you just have to hit the slat down evenly all the way across. That got me pretty damn close

Loosen the frame bolts (keep them snug)until all 4 casters are touching the ground. Then check for proper torch tracking. Once satisfied, retighten the bolts and check again.

If you have a water table, it helps to have some water in it for this step.

For anyone who may have the same challenge, loosening the frame bolts as Daniel suggested fixed this. A huge thank you to Daniel who has taken the time to walk through troubleshooting steps with me on the phone on a couple occasions. Langmuir has gone above and beyond with customer service for me and makes me that much happier with my purchase.

BTW Daniel - this is the little bump in the Y axis we talked about on the phone. Does not seem to cause an issue with the servo.
