Well it’s ordered!

Okay, I finally pulled the trigger. Order is in and I don’t know how I’m going to stand the long wait. Guess I will start downloading and building a library!

Best thing to do is start to learn how to do computer design - use Fusion alone or start with Inkscape (free) , Illustrator or Corel Draw ($) to create 2D drawings that you can save as SVG or DXF and bring into Fusion for toolpathing.

Most of the time you’re going to spend on projects will be design not cutting.

Thanks, I do have some experience. I ran a Vulcan CNC Plasma for 8 years. Used Autocad for custom design work and dxf output. That was 10 years ago! The Vulcan had proprietary software for control. So, I am not familiar with Mach3 or the like. I’m sure a lot of things have changed… I look forward to getting into it!

You are going to need the Mach3 license to get anywhere. Did you order it with your machine?

Mach 3 is the easiest part of thr process for me.

I did not order Mach3 with the machine. I figured I would get it direct from the source.

Congrats! The table is an awesome machine. Find a good plasma cutter and you’ll be making parts in no time!
