Vipercut30 - Horrible cut

Hey guys running a vipercut30. Been very unsuccessful at cutting anything. Cutting speed is 75, 13 gauge, plenty of air, 220v and 28 amp setting. Any recommendations?

Looks like either bad consumables or lots of moisture in your air.

You didn’t say what your settings were. First thing is to make sure all the set screws are really tight on the lead screw shafts. 28 to 30 amps, with 0.8mm tip, .060 tip to work, 60 to 65 PSI, consumable retaining cup should be snug but don’t over tighten it. torch holder should also be snug not over tightened.

For all its worth… I cut 14-16 G at 100 ipm 75 psi ( at the cutter) 28 amps, thin shim . I would defently check your tip and electrode to start with. I use the 6 and 8 tips with really not much difference if any for what i do. I use a 3 stage ( separater, filter ,dryer ) and the one on the back of the 30i . have had good success so far. Hope you figure it out soon.
