In the second picture you are choosing it incorrect plane, it looks like you’re trying to select the XZ plane.
I think I got it figured out. I thought I could set it to the plane I wanted and it would save it. So that everytime I loaded a new file it would be in the same plane. But guess not. Oh well I know now what to choose.
But I want to say thank you for all your help and patients on helping me get this stuff figured out. Plus the new stuff I learned.

If you can edit the title line of this topic to add (solved) in brackets after the topic description, that would be great. There is a little pencil icon beside the title block that allows you to do this.
