I’v been cutting quite a bit with this machine and getting more and more fluent with everything. I really want to expand the machine but I’m thinking I won’t have time till spring. So anyway, right now I’m using a devilbliss 25g compressor and the HYP xp30. I had some concerns on long cut times but I’m managed to cut large and numerous things out on 3/16 plate. I use fine tips and dial the cuts in at 26-30imp on that thickness. I get dross but it scraps off pretty easily.
Here is a coffee roaster I’m building for my business. This size roaster would cost around 10k. So this machine really paid for itself in my mind. this maxed out my cut areas but the machine worked great on it. I also make fab parts for the hotrod side of my business. So thought I share that the compressor, machine and my plasma have been working out well. Some hickups I’v overcame none the less.

LET me also add a tip on cutting holes. I use corel draw vector progam, similar to inkscape. So its just much easier for me to deal with vectors that way. So on circles say you want a 3/8" diameter. I have about a .06 thou kerf with my fine tips. What I do is make my circles .375 + .06 = .435 total then in Fusion I make the cut on the inside of circle. It works out well. Maybe someone has a better way of doing it. Let me know. maybe I got it all wrong, but I though when you tell Fusion your tool has a .06 kerf, it compensates for that. I haven’t had luck with true to size circles if I cut on inside. So I just make up the difference in the original file vector file by adding .06 may even fine tune that and add .03
