will not load program says no feed rate found . also torch fires as soon as i turn plasma on

Thank you I just got setup with the torch hooked it up test fired it an it wouldn’t shut down
You see the thing is, Shaggy. We have NO idea what torch you have, we have NO idea what system you have (CF or CF Pro), and, we have NO idea what you’re trying to do. So, if you want help, you might provide some information that would allow us to help you.

Aee you on a crossfire with mach3 or firecontrol on a newer table?
What software are you using for design and post process…fusion…sheetcam…?
What torch are you using?
Do you have the setting on 4t or 2t?
The more details you can provide the better we can all help

fire control , fusion 360 as far as the 4t or 2t i can’t find any switch on the outside of the machine i have a longevity 40 d plasma

CF spliced into torch wires with continuity with trigger pulled no thc

apparently the torch is wired in as per Langmuir instructions.
can you disconnect the plasma machine from the Crossfire…can you turn on your plasma machine…does the torch fire right away?..or does it only fire when you pull the trigger?

torch works fine when not connected to the Crossfire…
as soon as you connect it to the crossfire and you turn on both the crossfire and the plasma…your torch fires…to me that shows you have your torch wired incorrectly.
other than that I am not sure…maybe one of the other guys or Daniel from Langmuir can help

Could this be linked to the feed problem . when I try a program it goes through simulation fine but when I take it to the crossfire it comes up no feed found my machine is running v1.2ls and v1.6 w/o tic or ihs
I think solving one problem at a time for now.
the fact that your torch is on as soon as you turn on your plasma and it is plugged in to the crossfire is a bigger problem right now…
your simulation is in fusion…right?
The only way the torch will fire as soon as you turn the plasma cutter on is its wired wrong or the control box is bad.

When I opened the box to mount it I found the torch fire relay loose in the box

How do I check the box .
You take the cover off the plasma cutter. You find the torch trigger wires. You hook the 2 wires from the control box to the trigger wires. The control box fires the torch not the trigger.
