Could it be the electronics in the enclosure?
can you fire the hand torch through firecontrol?
Did you run the THC check and look for resting voltage like I mentioned?
While it’s possible you may have two issues, I would say something changed from the last time the cutter worked properly and has affected your voltage readings. Get that THC test to be in normal range then see how it works and go from there.
The giveaway was that your table kept running, and firecontrol wasn’t stopping your program. It clearly didn’t know what your voltage should be so it couldn’t tell you lost voltage.
How do I Get the THC test to be in normal range?
There’s a whole walkthrough on the Langmuir site for that. Could be a ton of stuff.
The answer is also staring at you on the computer after failing the test.
I know the feeling… and I’ve been there… but slow down, read, and really get to know what you’re doing.
Now you’ve posted another picture, with the solution (or logical next troubleshooting step) staring right at you. Sorry man, you’re going to need to do this on your own. You at least need to read the instructions, and understand what the lights on your plasma cutter mean.
This help me to see that I had over tighten the consumables, Retighten with finger tight and Torch cap Led is out. Thanks for all your hep.
Set pressure was 66 and actual pressure was 59
your right it was staring me right in the face, if it was a snake it would have bitten me. Consumables were to tight. Thanks.
I’m glad you got it figured out. This thread is a perfect example of how complex the troubleshooting can be for CNC plasma. Without that picture of your cutter I don’t think it would have been figured out. Nice job.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed and think there’s a quick answer on the forum, but it’s not always the case. I’ve been there…
Thanks for all your help.
