Out of no where Sheetcam fails to recognize any imported dxf file, only when starting the plasma cutting process, It says Layer not found when I hit the operation button and select plasma. I’ve cut the same files tons of times.

Need to see the screen capture of your operation setup. That’s where you should choose layer 0.

Does it not work when you use the contour tool and select the paths?
double click on your operations and screen shot that so we can see what that says. that message looks like the layer is not selected in the operation itself.
