How much movement should there be with the electrode in and out ?
When I assemble the torch the electrode is touching the plasma tip…
This does not see right to me…
That is correct. When the air starts flowing it will blow back the electrode and ionize the air creating an arc. That arc is then transferred from the nozzle to the plate.
