I have upgraded my CrossFire with the LS-THC and am trying to install Firecontrol on my Windows 10 laptop. I am getting the following error :
“Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.”
Any help to get past this bump will be greatly appreciated.

Can you provide more information about your computer system? If you are getting this error when you are attempting to install the MSI file it definitely seems like a permissions issue as Windows states. Are you the only user on this laptop?
I discovered the problem. It was my security software. When I turned off the software, all installed as it should. I was able to instruct the software to allow FireControl as a legitimate program.
