Ongoing THC & Torch Issues with XR and Razorweld 45 — Frustrated

I’ve never had this much trouble with torch height control on any of my previous Langmuir machines, but the XR is giving me constant problems. I’m running a Razorweld 45 with a machine torch, and it consistently fails to cut properly — on stainless, aluminum, and even cold rolled steel.

The torch keeps trying to dive into the material mid-cut. I’ve already lost one torch to this issue. I’ve tested multiple brands of consumables, disabled the limit switches, and adjusted just about every setting I can think of.

Langmuir support pointed me to the usual suspects — moisture in air lines or incorrect settings — but I never had these issues with my old Razorweld 30i on a Crossfire Pro. Same shop, same air setup.

Has anyone else run into this with the XR? Any insight or actual fix would be hugely appreciated.

Have you tried cutting with THC disabled? Look at IHC switch on Z axis screw, the brass tang should not be in contact with the z axis screw.
