Hi all,
I’m stoked to start playing with my little 2x2 crossfire! I have a hypertherm65 with the cnc cable in the mail. I’m going to order the extended rails and then weld all the table legs. I’ll be attempting to add limit switches and a rotary axis below the water table. I’m going to try and make the table easily removable by welding up the original holes and adding stainless tabs. I’ll post another thread once i start modifying. Just like cars, i have modifications planned before I’ve even tried the stock configuration!
My only experience with cnc is creating vectors to send to a stencil cutter printer (brother scan and cut). I then trace the stencil and cut the designs with the hand torch, but I suck at that, so CNC everything!
