Machine rust and maintenance

Could not help but notice that the machine is already rusting on the inside on the latest coffee coater video. Any chance we can get matching paint to touch up the rust? Is there any other type of paint to use that wont wear out as quickly?

Those side plates were samples that we cut out on XR and shot with some oil based paint. The synthetic coolant likes to lift oil based paint, exposing it to humid air. The production parts are powder coated and don’t suffer from the same rusting issue.

Also doesn’t help that we are north of Houston- very humid here. So any exposed steel surface will rust in hours.

Awesome! thank you so much!

The powder-coat on the Plasma system (4x8) is sub par to say the least, no blast profile or Zinc primer was done on the rails or the water table of the machine and without a proper blast profile it peels off easily.

Will you be prepping the insides of this machine with blasting fallowed by a Zinc primer then top coat for longevity?
