I have one in my victory …should be up
cutting tomorrow

If I buy the table and plasma cutter will that be all I need to start cutting projects

You’ll need a PC to control it. If you have one you can bring to the machine then you’re set there otherwise you may want to get something you can use in the garage . If you design on another PC then the garage one can be pretty low-end as it only has to be able to run Mach 3.

You can cut without a water table but make sure you’re doing it far away from flammables as you’ll get a fair amount of sparks flying.

You’ll need some kind of PC to do the design and tool path/G-code generation. If you have something already you may not need a new one (try running Fusion 360 on it).

Once you get it (maybe even before) you’ll want to get replacement consumables - tips, nozzles, shield, etc as you’ll wear those out and having them handy means not waiting to get more. They’re pretty inexpensive.

You’ll need a compressor and an air dryer/dessicant. The dryer and some connectors is probably $25 at Home Depot .

Are there different tips for cutting fine cuts

That would all depend on the plasma cutter and torch you have.
