Help my cuts aren’t going through (Solved: increased pierce delay and air psi)

Check the other end of the work clamp cable. We have seen this get loose. What are you cutting?
Give us ALL the settings, including the amps.

Looks like your Pierce delay is too short. Also, that crimp on the cable end looks terrible. Maybe check that, too.
I know you have been working on this for a while now. It’s something stupid; we just got to nail it down.

Nevermind on the settings. I looked back and saw them from previous message.
Try going to your THC settings in Fire control and reset to default settings.

I’ll give that a shot, I didn’t list it but my air pressure is 65psi

What should the pierce delay be? I had it at .35 when I was using 1.1 tips before and it worked fine, though that was back in December… anyways someone told me to set it to .5s in my last topic I posted.

Bump up your air to 75 psi and your pierce delay to .7 just for a test. Can you send us a video of it cutting? That would be helpful.

Picture of the front of the cutter if you could, with it powered on as you would normally be cutting.

I would also lean towards one of the connections at the plasma. Torch or work clamp.

A picture of the front of my machine?

How can I upload a video last time I tried it wouldn’t let me

The easiest way is to link to a video that you uploaded to YouTube.

This right here, turned my psi to 70 and my pierce delay to .7s and it worked, thanks for the help guys. I’ve ordered a motor guard filter to hook up to my air line as well!
