Fusion 360, where do we REALLY stand?

I have used Fusion 360 for a year and it works great. Set up for another year was easy as well. I would like to save my files locally so bought SheetCam and am so far pretty disappointed. There doesn’t seem to be a way to mix inside and outside tool paths. The entire drawing is defaulted into a tool path with multiple start and stop points on each path. Don’t see a way to edit these out. Granted I only spent a couple hours but it seems a far cry from the functionality I expect.

When you import a drawing it will show outside offset paths in red, inside offset in yellow and open paths in white. If any of those are wrong, it’s because your drawing has errors in it.

If your paths show multiple start points on the same path, after you create your jet cutting operation, it is because your drawing has overlapping lines.

When you create your operation, select the layer with your drawing and select outside offset. If the drawing doesn’t have errors, it will create the paths with the correct offsets for the whole drawing.

Try QCAD, it’s 2D. I have the Pro version and it works great on the Mac. It does have some post processor ability but it’s very rudimentary.
