Upgraded to 20.6, and I seem to have an issue where firecontrol freezes, or looses comms with my laptop, happens a lot after the upgrade, never happened before. ??? Perplexed. Also the machine really needs an e-stop—I’ve wrecked a sheet do to a tip up and couldn’t fumble the pause to stop it fast enough.
when you upgraded …did you complete delete the old FC?
the best way to upgrade is to delete the full FC with the add/remove function from your control panel.
then remove the FC folder in your profile…
then reload it…
that often fixes the isssues…
as for an e stop…the space bar works great as an e-stop…just slap it…then press resume…
Thanks, yea trying to scroll to pause on a misfire or when the program freezes sucks. I’ll have to file away the space at trick👍 And erase and reload fire control.
