Do any of you guys get bad leakage from the bottom of the drain pan? Its like the coolant has seeped through the concrete and comes out the nuts on the bottom of the pan and enclosure…. Not sure what to do. I tried rubber washers with no luck
Yes, I had severe leaking from the leg bolts. I bought the machine fully assembled. I tried RTV sealant on all the edges of the epoxy top coat, which did not stop the coolant leaking. The coolant was seeping into the cement from the 3D printed drains. The only way I could mitigate this problem was to drill some holes in the base pan right over the coolant tank. Now the drips get caught in a small food container with holes drilled in the bottom, and a couple of coffee filters in the container. From there it just seeps back into the tank. I urge anyone with coolant dripping from the leg bolts to resurface your base plate once a year. you’ll be surprised how much the base plate moves. My base plates sunk over .030” in the center, back by the drain.
Fully assembled since day 1… tried sealing everything inside ( I have 4 corner and center drain version). I remade the center drain in back and debating on just spray foaming/flex seal the corner drains and seal them up. There is an internal leak so I might just flex seal the entire base and see if that helps. Not as bad as it was, but still enough to trigger the OCD
Mine is water tight, self assembled. I have the old corner only drain design so mine actually turns into a bathtub if I’m not careful. ![]()
