on mach 3 with my crossfire, when i wanted to hack off the used portion of the steel, i would hit f5 and then just jog the torch around while the torch was lit.
in looking at FC, it not immediately apparent that i can do that. any one know how?
Use the straight line cut function. It’s not as easy as firing the torch and jogging it around, but it works.
You set the X/Y zero where you want to start cutting and then input the direction (X/Y +/-), length of cut and pierce delay and it will generate a program to cut the line.

You can also manually fire the torch and jog with arrows. The manual torch fire button is under the STOP button.
