I’m new to using plasma cutters, but have used cnc Mills and engravers most of which I built my self so I got good at trouble shooting, but I’m having a issues and I’m not sure where I am Going wrong, if its normal or more Likely I’m doing something wrong and I have not figured out what yet, but it happens on every price of steel and alum, it’s a notch where the torch starts/stop, I tryed using lead in and outs but still have some of the same problem,

Can you tell us what your tool cutting width is, lead out distance and radii? Also I assume the notches are happening on initial piercing? If so, what do you have your pierce clearance set at?
