Wait, do you hate Mac as equally as I do?!

Yes, add it to my list. Haha. No, they are great, but a stick in the spokes for Langmuir equipment.
Obviously, this is just my opinion. The new generation is addicted to them. Let the hate mail begin.

I always have, and always will, hate Mac products.

There are tons of reasons why, but it seems Boomers and Zoomers love them equally.

For the young generation, it’s trendy.

For the old generation, it’s dummy proof to integrate all their overpriced stuff together.

I feel I can navigate around the files in a PC but the files seem hidden in Apple. They don’t really want you to be looking around for things.

A lot of their stuff is proprietary, from a hardware standpoint.

Apple forces idiots to buy the latest and greatest when something breaks, so once again they are parted with their money.

Let’s not forget to mention the actual hardware used in their computers, and the ungodly costs to simply upgrade RAM or drive space.

You mentioned in an earlier post not having the confidence to build your own computer - it is far easier than assembling a Crossfire CNC table.

But for Apple users, they literally make it so difficult for their products to be serviceable that you have to either buy or make specialized tools just to repair/replace something as simple as a broken solder joint that renders an entire Macbook inoperable.

My friend did a whole Ted Talk about “disposable electronics” with Apple being at the top of that list, or really the primary subject.

Man, I didn’t mean to open a can of MAC-hate and cheese.

Yeah I’ll stop there, but I barely scratched the surface

Apple is the worst.

Here is a quote from one of my previous posts on the subject from the members lounge.

"If I could push a button and delete Apple from existence I would do it at the speed of light.

Apple is a plague against the right to repair movement and their protectionist ecosystems are monopolistic and ___________.

@SWomack anytime I start thinking about Apple I think about these commercials.

PC s forever & XP for life"

“Everything just works with a MAC”

They couldn’t be further from the truth

Apple died with Steve Jobs and the people in control don’t have his drive and vision. I’m not an Apple fan but they’ve had some cool stuff from time to time…

“Everything that Apple has given its blessing, works well with a MAC.”

That is what they meant.
