I ran the break in what’s next before I start to cut?
Get the fire extinguisher at the ready? 
Personally, I’d load a simple program (like a 2" square), dry run with the Plasma cutter off to make sure IHS is working and setting the correct cut height, run it with the Plasma cutter on, but THC off, then, if all works well, turn on THC and let 'er rip!
When the 2" is finished, measure it, and then adjust your kerf settings based on the resulting square’s size.
