You can keep driving it down manually with the button even if it does trip the initial height sensing switch.
If you’re running a program and the initial height sensor is tripped then it will stop and move up to piercing height.
no, there’s not limit switch on there so it’ll run until you depress the button. the switch that’s on the z axis is for the initial height sensor.
Like the others said, the IHS switch only works when you are running a program. If you are jogging the axis manually, it will just keep going until you stop it.

The coupling on my Z axis was stripped the motor was turning but it was not turning the screw They sent me a new one I just got it I’m going to try it
