Actual physical footprint of CrossFire?

Being very space constrained can anyone tell me what the actual minimum physical footprint of the CrossFire is? Not the working space which is not so much of an issue for me - I can move other stuff out of the way when I want to use it - but when it is powered off and shoved into a corner whats the minimum space it takes up?

I ask because the diagram on the main site is very unclear and seems to be saying the 2x2 table has a minimum 4x4 footprint.

The website tells you.

This is correct. The cutting area is 2x2. Actual dimensions are close to 4x4

Ok, I guess the perspective didn’t make sense to me but if that’s the actual minimum footprint that answers my question. It’s unfortunate for me because I don’t have that much space available… I was hoping the setup was at least 2ft wide in one dimension. But I get why that would be difficult to do - if you want to move things the movers have to exist somewhere.

A few members have reported some success with the Arc Droid, although many end up switching to a Langmuir table and preferring that instead.

But with space being truly limited, you could go that route.

If I were you, I’d try my best at trying to fit a Langmuir table. It’s what I learned all my CNC plasma from and their controller software is ridiculously easy to use.

My shop is pretty full as well as I have a tiny garage, but I try and make do!
