Anybody have a good way to get the stem out of the cap screw on the water table drain? Mine snapped clean off in it. I already tried to drill and thread in a screw. The zinc seems pretty brittle but I can’t seem to “gently” bust it out.
Mine showed up broken off in the hardware bag. I drilled it out as large as I could and finished cleaning up the threads with a 5/16-18 tap. Once drilled out, the tap breaks up the crap in the threads really easy.
K thanks… I started drilling but it still didn’t come out … I’ll just keep drilling a little bigger till it falls apart. Thanks for responding.
