So I am curious if anyone inserts optional stops in programs so you can say do all your piercing first at the correct height as to not destroy your consumables and then change height to cutting height after piercing is completed? Is this possible in Fusion/Mach3? I just built my system and am waiting for my machine torch so I haven`t got into creating programs quite yet and am just thinking about how I may be able to do it to save tips as I have heard from other users that piercing wears them out quickly.
I dont know if you can program in stops like your asking but you could certainly run more than one program on a part
