Oil catch can made on the x fire

Here is a oil catch can I make for mk4 Toyota Supra’s. They are double baffled, 1/8” npt drain, 1 1/2” filter and -10 inlets. I designed it in fusion, cut with the razorweld 45, and welded with a everlast 200. And yes, afterwards I did nest the program so I wouldn’t have so much waist lol.

Nicely done! How did you complete the logo etching?

Nice work. Definitely can tighten up the nesting - it hurts to see all that steel going to waste

Awww tricked ya  it’s not etching. It’s just a decal made out of this “etched glass transparent vinyl” the etch look is what I was going for

Ohhh I know. A learning experience for sure

Still nice. Maybe do a negative of the decal and really use it as a template for an etch? Nice welds too, btw.

Not at all, have at it Daniel.

Very nice! How was the welding after plasma cutting? What kind of prep did you do?

Welding was just fine man. I sanded the pieces with a D.A. Using 400 grit then a blue 3m 3” buffing pad on the edges, wipe with acetone and weld away
