Good morning. I have read some threads on here about people cutting 3d. How do ya’ll do it? You must cut multiple pieces? If so how do you connect them together? I am juts confused. I want to try it but not sure how. Any help?
All cnc jet cutting is 2D obviously so it would require multiple cuts and welding together or Fusion 360 has a sheet metal mode that’s awesome. You can design a 3D object in Fusion then sheet metal mode will “upwrap” it to a flat, cuttable piece that you’d bend up afterwards. There are some easy to follow tutorials on YouTube.
