Electric power requirements

Just got my plasma cutter and table. I am using a primeweld cut 60. 120v is a no go. I am about 15 feet from main fuse panel running exclusively 20amp 12 gauage wiring in the whole house. I was using the garage door opener outlet - as its dedicated - it seemed to work fine when cold. But once i got cutting for about 10 -15 minutes… I cant keep the circuit from tripping. My guess is going to 10awg and 30 amp 120v … But to do that - might as well wire for 220. just a matter of another pole. Anyone have any luck at 120v 30amp?? or is everyone just using 220?

Just do the two pole circuit and be done with it.

instead of going through all the hardwirng to do this… as i am not sure where the table will work best yet. I dropped an extension cord from my dryer… saved me time of actually snaking lines… and securing.
