I ran my break-in program and the screws for the axis motors get pretty warm. Should we lube these with something? Was thinking maybe just a few squirts of silicone lube
Yes, it is important to lubricate the lead screws as described in the user guide. Here is a screencap from the user guide:

I am using silicone spray lube. So far so good.
Not very messy, easy to apply, does not attract dust either.
I use dry film graphite lubrication. No drip. No clumping. Works well.
